I am heading in for some elective surgery on Monday, so I will be off work for a week-ish...so there will be more posts when I can sit up and type!

News from away!
So I was quickly checking "our" orphange web-blog for updates on orphands coming to Canada...and there is a plane full coming today or Tuesday. WOW! I wish we could be there to see them..and even more...be there to pick up our new family member! Buuuut...such is life.
We started taking measurements of our house for the "babies room" yesterday..Yeikes! It is really starting to sink in that we will be parents soon!
Well, back to work!

Round Two!
Well it has been a day or so since my last post. We are now into our second round of paperwork, first payment and prepping for our trainning session in Fredericton! We are SOOOO SOOOO excited!
This round of paperwork has been a challenge. It really make you think about yourself, and your sopuse...who you are and are not, who you think you are and not..etc.
Its almost unbearable to watch the news on Haiti these days, as the situation is becoming more grave, and the images of abandoned children become more and more evident. I cant wait for the day we step off the plane in Haiti for the first time! What a day..so close in mind, but far away in red tape land.
I am glad that I am working all weekend, and away from home and the TV.
My next post will be the day we submit package number two! See you then!

...more paperwork!
So the paperwork didn't get deliver today as anticipated. The lack of sun and over-abundance of snow, wind and cold mad for a nasty drive around town today. We took a few pics of the paperwork that will hopefully be dropped off tomorrow..as soon as I figure out how to post them..I will!
I had a dream today (yes I slept during the day), that we were getting on the plane to Haiti and all the details had been ironed out and life was A1...YAY! that day will hopefully come sooner, rather than later.
Melissa and I are watching Oprah from earlier today..Wycliff Jean is on showing some first person footage of the disaster..Wow!
We pray every night that out son/daughter to be is safe and can sense that better days are on the way!

And the adventure begins...
Well here we are, nearly 36 hours into the adoption process and I am already getting impatient! I am sure Mrs. is too! Hopefully today or tomorrow our first packages of paperwork will be deliverd and we will be "offically" in the adoption ring.
Hopefully things will move along in light of the recent catastrophy in Haiti. We look forward to future post and pics as the adventure continues!
